This course describes how to create a quote with and without Guided Selling feature, how to create a quote , and how quote metrics are calculated in Salesforce.

Welcome to the Quoting & Advanced Functionality course.

This course will explain how to create a quote with and without Guided Selling feature and also demonstrates how to create a quote using the Ramp deal feature. It also explains how quote metrics are calculated in Salesforce.

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Explain the quote-to-subscription workflow
  • Identify the steps for creating new and amendment quotes without guided selling;
  • Create new and amendment quotes
  • Identify the steps for creating a new quote with guided selling
  • Create a new quote using the guided selling feature
  • Create a ramp deal
  • Create product bundles

Note
To use Orders with Zuora CPQ, you must enable two settings:

  1. Store Existing Products
    a. Navigate to Zuora Config > Advanced Quoting Configuration Settings.
    b. Select the Store Existing Products check box.

  2. Enable Orders
    a. Open Developer Console by navigating to Debug > Open Execute Anonymous Window.
    b. In the Enter Apex Code window, type: zqu.RefreshCustomSettingSchedulable.refreshOrdersPermission();
    c. Click Execute.
    d. Verify that the Enable Orders setting is correctly updated in Advanced Quoting Configuration Settings in the Zuora Config tab.
